My starting point is always what isn’t working and how we can make it work better. I look for creative, practical ways to solve the problems of the space, make better use of what is already there and turn even awkward, difficult or limited areas into places that feel functional and intuitive.
The solution is built around the space, the people using it and the budget we have to work with – not around a predefined style or formula.
